self work ≠ self blame

self work ≠ self blame

inner work ≠ i have a problem

doing inner work and self improvement is not an indication that there is anything wrong with you.

last week, i was talking to a friend and she was saying it was painful and hard to be learning (and unlearning) things. and she don't know how i do it – constantly digging and working on things for yearsssss. i joked and said cos im masochist.

but actually a huge part of why i can keep doing it is because the space i come from when i work on myself now mostly are curiosity, excitement, fun, etc.. and no longer variations of ''there is something wrong with me' or 'i need to fix something'. (sometimes i still fall back there cos my automatic is still self blame but i am able to shift / navigate rather easily now from there)

i started on my own journey (officially) in 2010-2011. from shifting my beliefs about love to transgeneration trauma, to deconditioning what i learnt about how i should live my life. etc etc. i cant even list them all now.

when i first started, it was from a space of fixing and there's something wrong with me. then it was from 'not enough'.. it also didnt help that many coaches/ healers/ practitioners market using pain points.

but it started shifting slowly from 2015 onwards. (i dont know why, maybe i suddenly gained wisdom. hahahah)

now, to me.. there isnt anything wrong at all. it's a choice.

if we can improve our quality of life.. quality of relationship.. quality of things.. why settle instead?

an update of an app doesnt always mean there is/are bugs. an update of operating system doesn't always mean the older version does not work.

sometimes it's to have new features, to have it faster..

to want to better yourself, to be a better version of self is a choice of wanting better quality of life.

so here's a reminder: there is nothing wrong with you. you are choosing to work on having better quality of life.

it may be tough to shift into this space alone – especially if you are extremely critical of yourself or you are taught that you should.

if it feels right or resonate with you to work together with me, i have spots for 1:1 consultation & coaching or text/voice support container to hold you for your journey.
