one of the tools i frequently used in the past, and still one of my favourite, is innerdance.
innerdance’s concept is always about surrendering and allowing.
we dont write the stories, the stories write itself and we are the stories.
we dont do the dance, the dance dances on it’s own and we become the dance.
in this current world, we have been heavily conditioned to work for things, to fight, to rewrite destiny and fate.. to design, to create our lives..
but, do we? or have we been taught that we could just so we have illusion of power?
i used to be the stubborn, rebellious one who will say my life will be as what i want and plan. i can change anything.
before this goes in a direction that we should all be victim, i would like to say that it isn’t.
there is still free will.
and i am saying this from a set of beliefs i hold.
soul contract – that we have all agreed upon a series of things to happen.
greater forces – there are greater forces beyond us.
nothing happens by accident.
so what does it mean? do we have power or not?
i love this ambiguity.. this space between.
i will share my perspective on this.
but a disclaimer here: if you think by the end of this post, there is an answer, there isn’t. so don’t waste your time.
we do not write life. we do not design, nor create it. when we do, it implies a certain separation. because there is a subject and object.. there is a doer and result..
years ago, i was very into ‘creation’. we can create everything and anything in our life. not that i don’t believe in creation anymore, i still do.
so then, how do we create without creating? how do we write without writing? how do we paint without painting?
forget about being the artist or creator.
be part of the process. be the paint, be the ink, be the paper.
the paint does not insist it’s direction, it flows. the paper does not insist what goes on it, it allows.
we are life. we are it. we are living in it.
and who is the artist and/or creator? ourselves too.
we have co created our soul contract before we came upon.
life will write itself. it will unfold and create on it’s own.
